Sandwich sign

Ardan learned to sign sandwich! It is his favorite food after all. Egg sammy, turkey sammy or veggie burger. He will try pretty much anything that is placed between bread.  Here is a pic of Ardan signing sandwich.

Ardan loves when we get the train set out. He sits the trains on the track, gets close at connecting the cars and has started to flip all the switches to really make it come to life.

We moved Ardan's stool by the sofa so he can climb up. This kid is only getting bigger.

We have our first first-year molar. It was breaking through on the cruise last week which probably explains that nightly grumpy baby.

Western Caribbean - Ardan's First Disney Cruise

Phew, I don't even know where to start on our latest Disney adventure.  We had a blast on the Western Caribbean cruise visiting Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.  It was definitely a different experience cruising with baby!  We also visited the parks for a few days after the cruise.  Here is a sampling of photos and videos, there are just sooo many it is hard to choose.  For those of you with Facebook I will be posting more there.  Thanks for checking them out!

Missing those pups

Our Disney adventure ends tomorrow night but we are all excited to get home to those loving red dogs. Ardan had a blast playing in pools, waving to people and running around the Boardwalk and the play places.  He loved watching birds fly around and would sometimes even make a "caw" sound like his PaPa Sam taught him crows make.  Sit-down meals were challenging for a little one that wants to run, but we mostly kept our sanity. We took lots of pictures to share. I will be sure to post the best ones over the next week!

Daddy bought Ardan his first kids meal today, Mickey waffles with strawberries.  He even got breakfast in bed...one spoiled little boy.

Happy MOTHER'S DAY - flight to FL

Happy Mother's, Grandmother's and Great-grandmother's day to Ardan's DD, Nanny, and Great Nanny!  We hope you all have a great day tomorrow.

Here is a picture of us on our plane ride to Florida yesterday.  Daddy gave up his first class upgrade to sit with us and it was great because Ardan even had his own seat!

14 Months Old

Ardan will be 14 months old tomorrow and will be on his first Disney cruise!  He is 22 lbs and 31 1/4" tall.  He loves waving and is practicing saying "Hi".  He also loves to sign and say "Dada" while following Daddy around.  He is mumbling lots of new sounds and just "talking" away to himself these days and pointing at everything as if to ask "what is that?"

Ardan finally got to meet some small dogs (shih tzu) the other day and he just loved they were his size.  He was very gentle when petting them.

We hope to get his Mickey picture in person with Captain Mickey!

Weekend Fun

We have been having beautiful weather.  Warm enough to even get out the baby pool and celebrate Mommy's birthday.  Ardan really liked playing corn hole too, he was great at putting the bags in the hole! Check out Ardan, Berkley, and Lola playing in the sprinkler water:
