Tried on some snow boots today. Had to test them out on the rocks before buying them.

Beginning of Fall

The summer flew by, but we are having fun welcoming the rainy season of fall:

 Ardan was not happy he fell into the box he was not suppose to even be playing in.

 He sure loves putting on shoes, even if they are 100 times too big.

 Boys will be boys...playing with earthworms after a big rain storm.  I put Daddy in charge of this adventure.

Ardan has been loving on the dogs so much lately.  He gives them hugs often.  Lola and Berkley are still getting used to it I think.  

Last molars!

Ardan is just waiting on his last 4 baby teeth to come in (2nd year molars). We can tell he has started working on them by his mood and drool. Poor guy. We are all glad he is in the home stretch of teeth growing!

Slides!

Ardan was a pro on all the slides today at the park. Big slides, small slides, swirly slides. His favorite was the swirly slide. And he said them all on his own! (mommy finally go the guts to let him try, that is). Yay for toddler-hood.

Weekend Chores

We had a good weekend.  Ardan loved doing some outdoor chores like mowing the lawn and helping prune the garden.  I think he just wanted an excuse to wear his ear muffs on the tractor with Daddy.

Lattins Farm

We had fun seeing ducks, goats, pigs and chickens. And getting fresh apple cider and donuts.

Shoes

Ardan has been practicing putting on his own shoes while standing up.  He has gotten very good at it except when he gets the sides mixed up.

18 Months Old

Happy 18 months Ardan!  He is 24.2 pounds and just under 33 inches.  He usually likes sleeping in his own bed, a toddler bed, and is talking more and more.  He has been loving giving the dogs hugs and crawling up and sitting in regular chairs.  His favorite food these days is any kind of cracker and he still loves scrambled eggs for breakfast and a bite of banana.

Rainy Season

It is fun to play in the rain with his new galoshes.

End of August

Ardan is still trying to fill everyone's shoes.

 We welcomed home Daddy after a very long work trip.  He got some balloons, a one-of-a-kind "Welcome Home" sign and a big hug from this little guy.  We celebrated by braking out the Rock Bank guitar for the XBox.

Took a family field trip to Seattle an went to the Pax conference for a fun day
