Adventures with DD and Oppie!

Having an awesome visit full of adventures with DD and Oppie this week!

Sand in the City: Pineapple Bowling, Hula Hoop

Sand sculptures and facepaint at Sand in the City.

First Fishing Trip!  Oppie made an awesome homemade fishing poll for Ardan and got some worms from the back yard.  Ardan caught about 6 fish: some prim and large mouth bass (that there 2 inches long, haha). But still a job well done for his first time out.  We had a great day.  Check out a video of his catching a fish.

Ardan's First Movie!

We took Ardan (and Nolan) out for their first movie experience at the Drive-in theater in Shelton, WA.  We got to see Planes 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  We all cuddled on an air mattress in the back of the truck and enjoyed the shows.  Ardan loved it and of course loved the big tub of popcorn that comes with movie watching.

We took the family to Percival Landing Park to play and to walk down the boardwalk to the Farmers Market in downtown Olympia today.  Ardan loved looking at all the boats!  Ardan is even getting the hang of the big-kid swing and pumping his legs to swing himself!

Ardan in August

I left the room with Nolan for a minute and I come back to find a new baby in his place.

Puppy love.

Brotherly love.

Mommy taught Ardan about hop-scotch.  He loved running across the tiles!

Baseballs!  Chasing baseballs and then finding baseballs.  This is Ardan "looking" for baseballs - hand under eye instead of hand over eyebrow searching....(hehe love this kid).
