Lowes Build & Grow

Emily and Louis joined us at the Build and Grow workshop for Iron Man at Lowes this morning. Ardan even brought his own tool box. We missed having daddy, but had fun! Ardan completed his Iron Man while Nolan just played with the stickers.

Finding Dory

Guess who went to see Finding Dory today.  These cool kids!

Nolan's 2nd year numbers, videos and more!

A little late posting Nolan's 2 year old stats: 33 inches tall and a little over 25 pounds.  His vocabulary has always been amazing and he continues to impress me by putting 4+ words together and repeating new sounds.  He is a feisty, smart guy that loves animals, play outside and play with his big brother.  He wants to pet every dog he sees, watch every bird and smell every flower.  We have been going on "nature walks" to the mail box this week and stopping to look at bugs, rocks, and flowers in the field across from our house.  His favorite food, is all foods, especially but not limited to, chocolate, watermelon, fruit leather, Z-bars, and cheese.  He loves playing "light saber flight" and always has a dramatic fainting scene he plays out when taking a hit.  He is getting better and hitting a baseball and kicking a ball.  He loves to pretend cook and color.

Photos from Nolan's birthday morning: opening his wonderful gifts (and getting lots of help from Ardan).  Ardan was trying to keep Nolan on task with the gift opening since Nolan mainly wanted to pop all of the air packaging from the boxes.

Nemo Party for Nolan's 2nd Birthday

Nolan turns 2 on Tuesday! (shout out to his birthday buddy, Uncle Chris)  We celebrated with our local crew for his birthday today.  It was filled with Nemo and yummy food and fun!  We have such amazing extended family here!!

Preschool picnic/graduation

Ardan got his certificate for 3 year old preschool on Thursday! The whole class had a wonderful picnic at Rainier Vista park. We took pizza for our picnic. Lots of fun! Ardan grew over 2 inches from the beginning of the school year.

Last day of 3 yo preschool for Ardan

He has grown nearly 2 inches and really acts like a big kid most days!  Other favorite things not listed above: "Monster chasing people" (chasing each other around roaring), tag, playing the board game Cootie, when packages arrive in the mail!

Treehouse Picnic

Nolan loves corn on the cob

Balloon volleyball!

More Art!

Some of Ardan's preschool art.

And painting day at our house!  Nolan did most of the painting.  He really liked it when I drew a Mickey Mouse shape for him to fill in with paint.

Beach themed preschool day

Ardan's preschool had a beach themed day the other week!  Here is Ardan rocking his beach look.  Unfortunately, his expectations were that he was actually going to the beach to go swimming, but he still had a great time.

Fun Friday

We had a blast at the LOTT river and museum today! The museum even has a new China display where Ardan and Nolan got to ride a scooter!

You've got mail

Ardan wanted to send a shout out to Oppie for the fun piece of mail. What a great time we had on that fishing trip last summer!
