Ardan has been interested in his own golf club set.  We got him a putter and an iron last week and lots of practice balls.  He was very proud to carry them to the counter and pay for them at the store and load them into the car all by himself.  Now time to practice.

Ardan got some new tennis shoes today since he loves jogging with mommy. He was stoked to say the least and wouldn't take them off all evening, until mommy made him take a bath. 

Celebrating Nolan's 1st

We got to celebrate Nolan's 1st birthday while we were in Charlotte, NC.  It was so special to celebrate with the grandparents, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Chris and Liam.  We celebrated by playing in the pool all day and with a yummy dinner on the grill and cupcakes!

We also celebrating again when we got home to see Daddy. Nolan is 29 1/2 inches tall and 21 lbs 5 oz.  He mastered walking a month ago and loves to be on the go.  He is babbling in complete sentences and is quick to repeat sounds and actions.  He loved petting puppies and hiding toys in obscure places around the house.  Just like Ardan he plays with the DVDs on the bottom of the DVD shelf.  He loves all food, but mostly just wants to chance to feed himself instead of mommy doing it.

Nana & Poppop's

We played in Nana & Poppop's pool everyday of our visit.  It was so fun. Ardan's favorite was jumping in, and by the end was also practicing his swimming.  Uncle Chris brought some water guns, which of course Ardan loved!

Meeting Liam!

We got to meet baby Liam for the first time last week (other than on Skype).  The cousins loved playing together. What a handsome bunch.

Virginia Tech!

 

We had a blast visiting Virginia Tech.  Ardan loved every minute of it.  We walked about the Drill Field, football stadium, and basketball Coliseum.  A boys basketball camp was practicing and Ardan just wanted to join in on their practice, but we managed to just watch them instead.  We ate lunch at Sycamore Deli, one of Daddy and Mommy's favorites in college.  What an amazing day.  Campus changed so much I barely recognized it!

DC to play

We went to visit Daddy while he was working in DC. We stayed in Georgetown and had so much fun visiting the Air and Space Museum, the Natural History Museum, White House and Washington Monument. We also had to go by Georgetown Cupcakes to get a yummy treat and visit with friends too!!

Dock fishing

We went fishing on a friend's dock last week. Ardan caught catfish, pirch, and a croaker.  Their family dog, Drake was a great host too.

NNK for a month 2015 Part 2

What a wonderful we have had in Virginia.  Tomorrow we head to Blacksburg, VA to walk around the Virginia Tech campus, then on to Charlotte to see the Wargo/Bennett/Grant clan!  We are super excited.

Aunt Allison's wedding weekend begins with a play date with The O'Dells and Cobbles.  Nolan loved Mr. Karl, and gave him the biggest hug!  They were instant buddies.
