Disney! Ardan's first trip to the the happiest place on earth

We had a great trip to Disney World but are glad to be home with Lola and Berk. I seems like Berk really missed his buddy Ardan.

Our trip was great!  Ardan got to meet some family members for the first time and lots of Disney characters.  He road on lots of rides and was tuckered out most days from all of the adventures.

 First trip to the pool!  Ardan loves bath time so we knew he would love his first trip to a pool.  He was kicking and splashing and having a great time.

 Ardan even got his "1st Visit to Disney World" button to wear.

This was the most peaceful meal I got to eat in Epcot - dinner at Tutto Italian - because Ardan was sleeping in the booth.  I always love a booth for this reason now.

 Mary (Nana), Greg and I ran the Donald Half-Marathon and Greg also ran the Mickey Full Marathon at the beginning of our trip!

Greg surprised me with a wonderful,romantic night out with dinner at Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian.  He even surprised me with shoes, dress, and purse to wear.  It was an amazingly thoughtful surprise and the most delicious 7 course meal we have ever had.  Ardan's Nana and Poppop had the pleasure of babysitting.  They went to Downtown Disney to walk around and ride the Merry-Go-Round.

He did great meeting characters too!

Poppop said now he knows why he has large ears... :-)

10 Months Old

Ardan is 10 months old today and enjoying his first trip to Disney World! We are so lucky that grandparents, aunts and uncles are visiting too. Some of us ran a half marathon today and Ardan met us at the finish.

Ardan is about 21 pounds and 30 inches tall.

Ardan thought he would go find the real Mickey for his traditional monthly picture.

First Hair Cut!

Ardan has his first hair cut tonight thanks to Daddy (and a cringing Mommy).  He didn't seem to mind.  It was just a little trim before he goes to see Mickey mouse.

There might be an anti-clothing phase coming in the future...

Walking Video

I finally got a decent walking video.  He has been able to make it half way across the room and gets better everyday.  Of course it is easier for him to walk on carpet...we are still working on the hardwood.

This guy is nuts...

Haha. Ardan thinks he is quite the dare devil. He has been climbing on things and starting to stand on his head. I am waiting for him to do a somersault! He has also been saying some new sounds and clicking his tongue. Never a dull moment at our house these days!

Oh yes, and Ardan knows how to open the dog crate. I thought the first time was luck but he did it again and let Berkeley free from another time out. Partners in crime, what can I say...
