We had a great visit with Ardan's Great-Nana.

Disney World - Marathon Weekend 2014

We had a great trip to Disney World.  Ardan loved the rides, shows and especially the characters!  He would even try to chase down the characters he loved seeing them so much.  His favorite ride was probably the Carousel in Magic Kingdom.  Dumbo the Flying Elephant was a new experience for him as well as the Tea Cups and Toy Story Mania, all well received.  He was so excited to see his grandparents and aunt and uncles.  His favorite time out of the park was spent either at the arcade or the pool/beach area at the hotel.  Thanks to the family for a great trip!

The marathon weekend was good.  We all finished!  Greg did an awesome job of finishing the Dopey Challenge Thursday through Sunday (5K, 10K, Half marathon, Full Marathon) totaling over 48 miles.  We are so proud of him and loved seeing him run in the full marathon from the Boardwalk area.  Here is a sampling of photos from our great trip!

 

Dinner and a show

At Disney World's Be Our Guest restaurant.  This was Ardan's favorite way to enjoy a meal while we were in Disney World...a fresh baked roll and a movie on the IPhone.

Cleaning up Christmas

Ardan seemed reluctant to help pack up the Christmas decorations today.  He really didn't want the tree to go.  Maybe next year we will get him a little tree like this make-shift one.

Christmas Day! 2013

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Thank you to family and friends who made it so special, even from 3000 miles away!  Ardan has opening presents figured out.  He is very considerate with the ripped wrapping paper, always putting each piece in the garbage or handing it to Mom.  We did spend about 4 hours around the tree opening gifts.  Little man tended to get distracted by each toy and took time to play with each one.
