We found this hand made baby rattle in Hawaii.  A family heirloom for sure.

December 2011 Babymoon

Greg and I just got back from a fabulous "Babymoon" on Hawaii's island of Oahu.  We spent most of the week on Waikiki Beach as well as a few days in the relaxing atmosphere of the new Disney Resort, Aulani, in Ko Olina.

I was asked quite a few times "how far along are you?" and enjoyed a maternity massage at the spa.  The weather was great and it was a great last trip for just the two of us.

Warsaw Baby Shower

I enjoyed a fabulous Baby Shower in Warsaw, VA over the Thanksgiving Holiday.  It was great to see everyone and have Ardan experience a Virginia Tech Football game while in Virginia as well.  Thank you to Nancy, Allison and Ashley for a fabulous baby shower!  It was such a special day.  We are excited to start organizing Ardan's room with all of the goodies we received.

Baby name announcement!  We have chosen a name for Baby Keating.....

Ardan James Keating 

He will go by "Ardan," an Irish name derived from "ardanach" meaning "high aspiration."

Baby Keating updates!

Things have been moving along quite well.  We have made it to the half way point, 20 weeks!  We had an exciting doctor's visit this week and found out Baby Keating is a BOY!  A few of the pictures are attached.  Baby Keating had been starting to kick a little bit and seems to like moving around in the morning and late afternoon.

Hi Family and Friends,

Greg and I have excited news and first baby photos to share!  Over 2 years of marriage, 2 big moves across the country, and 2 dogs, the Keating crew is growing by 1.

We are expecting a little one in early March 2012 and are excited about the adventure of starting a family.  We had our first ultra-sound a few weeks ago and wanted to share the photos.  Please see attached.

We should find out if it is a boy or a girl in October and will keep everyone posted.  

We have started to organize the house a bit more to create a nursery in what was my office/exercise room.

We thank everyone for their well-wishes and support and Congrats again to the grandparents and uncles and aunts-to-be.
