Calling all minions! Ardan is 3!

We had a minion themed 3rd birthday party for Ardan with a few friends.  We had a blast eating pizza, playing games ("Knocked Over" - Mommy's take on the Space Killer from the movie Despicable Me), opening gifts, and eating a cake shaped like a minion.

Nolan 9 months

Nolan is 9 months old today.  He is 19 lbs 4 oz. and about 28 inches tall.

He has 6 teeth, 4 bottom and 2 top. He is loving pushing his walker around , and has stood on his own for at least 4 seconds at a time. He has taken half a step on his own but it won't be long before he runs our halls.  He loves when big brother wants to horse play, he just smiles and laughs. Car rides are going much better these days. He loves playing in their little kitchen.  And with Ardan's doctor set, he got for his 3rd birthday. Bath time with big brother has been super fun!  He is a happy,  independent little guy!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ardan!!!

Another year has flown by and Ardan is 3 today!  It has been hard turning 3, but we have had a great day today.  He has his favorite breakfast of scrambled eggs and cinnamon buns.  He opened birthday gifts from his wonderful family and friends, and spent the rest of the day playing with them.  He is 38 inches tall and 32 lbs 6 oz. His favorite book is Go, Dog, Go.  He loves playing with cars and trucks and cooking in his kitchen.  Favorite sports are soccer, baseball, and volleyball.  We will have a Minion/Despicable Me themed party for him this weekend.  Thanks to everyone for making this day special for him!

Playing and fishing this week with Oppie and DD!

We tried fishing at Long Lake, but with the cold morning the fish weren't biting.  We took a picnic to Woodland Creek Park and tried fishing there, but again no bites.  Ardan did learn to master his casting though!  Check out the video.
